Madonna - Performed for Tsunami Aid and aims of the UK's Make Poverty History campaign

Madonna, in January 2005, performed a cover version of the John Lennon song "Imagine" on the televised U.S. aid concert "Tsunami Aid", which raised money for the tsunami victims in Asia.

Then in July 2005, Madonna performed at the Live 8 benefit concert in London, run in support of the aims of the UK's Make Poverty History campaign and the Global Call for Action Against Poverty.
